Born in North Carolina, raised in Virginia, and a New Jersey college graduate, his journey up the East Coast has a given him a unique perspective that he expresses via his music. At a young age, EricJames found his niche with visual art and has been creating ever since. Discovering a passion for DJing while getting his multi-media art degree, EricJames discovered a new outlet to expand and develop his emerging creativity. His physical art had a massive influence on his musical art, establishing EricJames as a rapidly rising talent. Pooling together a vast range of eclectic sounds, top remixes, and undiscovered underground bangers, he draws energetic crowds to the dance floor and keeps them there for the entire night. Aggressively studying and networking with notable artists and DJ's and combing through radio shows, playlists, and podcasts, EricJames takes pride in digging for music that resonates with each person in a unique way. He brings a consistent passion for playing a favorite song, artist, or genre to each and every gig in order to deliver the very best experience with blends, edits, mashups, and remixes done live for a night audiences just won’t forget. In spite of his short tenure in the club scene, EricJames has already played in popular venues, across multiple states, alongside notable acts such as A-Trak, DJ Sussone, and Justin Caruso. A resident with DeepRoot Records' biggest monthly parties, EricJames continues to set the bar higher with each show, not only bringing the finest selection of tracks but connecting with rising New York artists to include live acts, bringing the freshest sounds all across the tri-state area and beyond.

There is more than just music and art when it comes to EricJames. Recently, he has appeared in multiple episodes of AwesomenessTV's YouTube hit show ‘City Girls,’ playing the role of a top New York music producer, with view counts topping a million views per episode. He has also modeled and represented for multiple brands, including Ocean Rebel, Brooklyn Cloth, Ladies Nation, Since 1999, Royal Elastics, and many more over the years.
